A1. The BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Active is suitable for children who weigh between 3,5 kg/8 lbs and 12 kg/26 lbs. The BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Original and the BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Air are suitable for children between 3,5 kg/8 lbs and 10 kg/21 lbs.

You can carry your child in a baby carrier for as long as he/she is happy there. We all need to change positions once in a while, even your child. Small children should not be motionless in the same position for longer periods of time. That's why we recommend that you keep your child's needs in mind and, for example, switch between the baby sitter, baby carrier, baby carriage and bed.

All of BabyBjo rn's baby carriers have been developed in collaboration with children, parents and medical experts. Our baby carriers provide excellent support for your child's head and back, and guarantee that his/her legs and arms are in a physiologically correct position

A2. Wash the BABYBJORN Bib for Baby Carrier separately at 60°C/Warm. Use a gentle detergent. Do not tumble dry.

A4. The BABYBJORN Baby Sitter Balance is suitable for children who weigh between 3,5 kg/8 lbs and 13 kg/29 lbs. The BABYBJORN Baby Sitter Balance was developed in collaboration with children, parents and medical expertise. Our tests show that children like lying in our baby sitter, where the soft fabric shapes itself to baby's head and back, similar to the comfort baby felt in mom's tummy.
For how long can my child sit in the BABYBJORN Baby Sitter Balance?
You can let your child sit in the BABYBJORN Baby Sitter Balance for as long as he/she is content. We all need to change positions now and then, even your child. Small children should not remain immobile in the same position for longer periods of time. That's why we recommend that you be aware of your child's needs and alternate between, for example, the baby sitter, baby carrier, baby carriage and bed.

A5. We recommend removing the restraint when your child is big enough to climb in and out of the BABYBJORN Baby Sitter Balance on his/her own. However, we recommend that you keep an eye on your child even when he/she can do this.

A6. BabyBjo rn's baby carriers are all machine-washable at 40 °C/Warm. Use a detergent without bleach and do not tumble dry.

We always recommend, after consulting the pediatricians we work with, that you carry your child facing you in the baby carrier until he/she is a little older and strong enough to hold up his/her own head. As this varies a great deal from child to child, we cannot give a general age recommendation for when you can carry your child facing forward. Instead, it is up to parents to judge when their child is ready. It is vital that you as a parent pay attention to your child. A dissatisfied child signals when something does not feel right.

The BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Active is designed so that the child's center of gravity comes closer to the carrier, in order to enhance carrying comfort. Since the center of gravity is closer, it can seem as if the baby carrier is tighter on your child. The BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Active is, however, 26 mm/0.1 ins wider than the BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Original and BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Air.

The BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Active was developed to be used by children from the time they weigh around 3,5 kg/8 lbs, and it gives excellent support until they weigh 12 kg/26 lbs.

Make sure that the sliding buckle is set according to your child's length. It is also important that you pay attention to, and listen to, your child. If your child does not feel comfortable, he/she will let you know.

A9. A distinguishing characteristic of BabyBjorn's baby carriers is that they are adjustable and grow with your child. On the inside of the lower part of the front of the baby carrier, there is an adjustment label and a sliding buckle. Adjust the buckle according to your child's length. The leg straps on the baby carrier should be used from the time your child weighs 3,5 kg/8 lbs until he/she weighs 4-4,5 kg/9-10 lbs.

A10. BabyBjo rn does not use chemical additives such as cadmium, lead, Bisphenol A, phthalates, bromine or chlorine. Nor do we use PVC, and all our plastics are recyclable.

A11. We don't recommend temperatures above 90°C / 194°F in order to guarantee that the plate is not deformed. It's better to heat things up an extra time. Never let anything boil.

A13. There are many different opinions on this much-debated topic. BabyBjorn develops potties that your child can start using when he or she feels ready to.

A14. We have no maximum weight limit for the BABYBJORN Safe Step. It is intended for children. Although the BABYBJORN Safe Step is strong enough to carry the weight of an adult, it is clearly intended for use by children only.
