The extra-large version is right for you if you wear large or extra-large t-shirts. The shoulder straps are longer than those on the regular size model, which makes for a better fit on large framed, broad shouldered or taller parents.

*Note - Small and medium framed people should NEVER USE the Extra Large Straps as the carrier and infant will not fit securely against the parent's body.
**Note - We have had many customers with needle and thread make the straps 2" shorter to fit small and medium size people. So if you are handy with needle and thread with just a little sewing you can make this fit for your size.

As soon as your baby is 21 inches long and weighs 8 lbs she can ride in the Baby Bjorn Baby Carrier facing you. The Baby Carrier provides head and neck support; leg straps reduce the size of leg openings (they should always be used for babies under ten pounds). Once your baby can hold her head up, she is ready to face forward. The Baby Bjorn Baby Carrier will adjust (using a sliding buckle) to fit your child up to 25 lbs (about 2 1/2 years). Suggested modifications based on weight and height are enclosed with the Baby Carrier -which you can adjust yourself. Color coded latches on the Baby Carrier simplify putting on and taking off the Baby Bjorn Carrier. Also, with a Baby Bjorn you can easily move a sleeping child from Baby Carrier to crib without disturbing him/her. The Baby Bjorn design makes it easy to assemble, adjust, and wear.
This Baby Bjorn Carrier has the brand NEW buckle closure for the top of the carrier which makes adjusting the top of the carrier incredibly easy!
